
DigInTraCE was represented the Innovent Forum 2025, held on February 14 and 15, 2025, in Larisa, Greece. Under the theme “Tech for Aeiforia,” this two-day event showcased innovative technological solutions designed to foster networking and collaboration opportunities across various sectors.
This year, the focus of the forum was on the agri-food, technology, and environment sectors. The Innovent Forum serves as a vital platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange, bringing together professionals from diverse backgrounds to actively shape the innovations of the future. It plays a crucial role in strengthening green transitions and digital transformations, promoting equitable access, and fostering cooperation towards a climate-neutral and healthier planet.
The I-Sense Group of ICCS, who coordinates the DigInTraCE project, actively participated in the forum, presenting cutting-edge technological solutions from various projects, including DigInTraCE, RURBANIVE, W2W, CHOICE and THESEUS. Our team showcased these research projects at our dedicated booth. Giannis Karaseitanidis, Technical Director of the I-SENSE Research Group at the ICCS – NTUA and Founding Member of the spin-offs CIBOS Innovation & CogniSensus, participated in the Panel Discussion on “Innovative AI Applications in Energy & Environment”, presenting advanced AI applications from different projects and their impact on sustainability. In addition, George Megas, Head of the Innovation & Networking Office at ICCS, NTUA, took part at the Panel Discussion on “ICT Technologies in the Agri-Food Industry: New Business Models & Prospects”.
